I spoke at a women’s conference several years ago where I left the place feeling completely energized. A newfound passion preceded by the Holy Spirit promptings gave me the need to teach God’s word. The need to teach is attached to my soul just as my pinky toe is attached to my foot. I can’t get rid it. The things I have been able to accomplish in a short amount of time seems unreal.
He prompted me and I obeyed. Contrary to popular belief we have a choice to be obedient to God. He wants to reveal himself to the world through you. Now, how this occurs is up to you. We can live a blessed life or a cursed life. Either way the world would know only that God is in the mix. If you don’t believe me read about the children of Israel.
The word is full of God’s promises if we do our part and act on them. I’m sure you all understand that we can’t in and of ourselves fulfill God’s law within our strength and power. We are just not capable of doing that. We have God’s grace available to us through his death and resurrection. This is where the Holy Spirit comes in.
As you obey His promptings you will see spiritual realities. Deuteronomy 28:2 says, “All these blessings will come upon you and overtake you if you obey the Lord your God.” Get ready for God to blow your mind as you obey and continue to be led by the Holy Spirit.
